I think a bit of everything has been added to this page .
Mop ups, brusho powders, a winter snow scene torn from a magazine.
a scrap piece of embossed stone wall
A white embossing powder spill was not wasted, just spread around with my fingers before it was heated and I couldn't resist a sprinkle of glitter.
This unfinished page started a few days ago is probably true to the colours I used.
Its very dull and grey here and yet again a good photo was hard to take.
Of course I had to add a winter visitor, robins are regular's to my garden.

My robin is off to visit with the folk over at Art Journal Journey
January's theme is Winter Wonderland.
Thank you for stopping by to see me today,
I always appreciate the comments you leave for me.
A wonderful page Yvonne, love the cheerful mix of elements. My robins look like that when the feeder is empty! Thanks again for joining us at Art Journal Journey, and for your continued support for our challenge. Hugs, Valerie

I was delighted to read that nothing gets wasted in your art, either. It speaks to the frugality that allows you to buy more products. I enjoyed the crazy bird robin, too. Of course, I was especially pleased to see you used magazine images, probably my favorite way to collage. Hope your day is going well.
ReplyDeleteA such a beautiful photograph to display the cute robin

Robin looks so cute and surprised in your fabulous winter garden. Photo with embossing is great.
ReplyDeleteI do hope that your garden is no longer looking that chilly Yvonne - winterwatch on bbc 2 this week is from Braemar & no doubt there will be snow as well as storm damage, not that I'll see any of it!
