Listen to the silence

A mixed  media journal page today, using a watercolour painting
and digital additions from my stored images and  Mischief Circus.

This is the painting I used.
Not my own work but my husbands.
He painted this to use  for  my Christmas card..

I used a quote by Antoinette van Kleef...
When the snow falls, nature listens.

This page be joining the fun at Art Journal Journey
where Chrissie is hosting this months theme of Winter Wonderland.

Thank you for stopping by to see me today, I always appreciate the comments you leave me.

  21. I am in awe of your husband's painting. You are so talented to combine his efforts with yours. Although I really like the quote you chose, when I saw the title of your post, I thought how true it is that when it snows, there is an eerie silence that pervades the snow fallen area. Even normal sounds, like cars traveling on the street, are muffled. This beautiful art reminded me of that this cold and freezing morning.

Yes, I'd forgotten how silent it is when snow falls, maybe it will happen again sometime soon.
