Todays journal page for
Art Journal Journey is another collage.
My last contributions for the month are all left in scheduled posts
so I hope they get published okay, I may be late with my visits to see you over the weekend.

These two sweet children found in my, 'save in case you need it box',
just shouted out to me to be used.
So this page began with me thinking back to the days of childhood,
how innocent children are, they believe and trust us to look after them, they see no wrong in their lives,
so its up to us as adults to protect, nurture and cherish them.
They are our future.
A digital base made in my Craft Studio.
Stencil [ Tim Holtz], for texture, rubbed over with gold gilding wax.
The clock is an Alterations die cut, I used Tea dye distress embossing power
on this piece and a touch of the gold wax.
the clockface was coloured with Vintage Photo distress ink.
The large word stamps are Crafters Companion.
When I had finished this page, the photo I took ,went back into the digital program and I added the last overlay framing.

Wonderful pages, thanks for another lovely contribution to AJJ. I will link it for you. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of a "save in case you need it box," rather than my plain old "it's too good to throw away box." And of course, the rest of the art is fantastic too. Have a lovely time away.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for those " save just in case" boxes, they are invaluable. I can't believe that you've managed a 31 day month with a post on the same theme every single day!
