Fragments of time in 10 minutes -- forAJJ and Journal 52

A page made using  bits and pieces, die cuts that hadn't quite cut through, in fact anything that was lying on my desk and in my bits box.
I am still on catch up with my Journal 52 pages, this Prompt for week 31
was -- '10 Minute Challenge'.
I did manage in time, it was just a question of sticking everything down.
I even used a stencil with a little gold gilding wax, the best bit of fun  however was the colouring
I masked  the photo strip, then set about spraying a variety of Dylusions paints to colour the page.
The heat gun came out to help the drying so I could stamp on my chosen word.

You could say time, is made up of fragments
when you break it down into seconds, hours and days......
A second is not long enough,  an hour may be just right and a day simply perfect.
So this  page is off to  Art Journal Journey as well.

It takes crafting time up, trying to be tidy, so maybe my desk is asking to be cleared as I only have a tiny bit of space to work in  today. But I used more than a fragment of time and  I had some fun.

Thank you for stopping by, I always appreciate the comments you leave for me.

p.s. My desk still looks messy

  1. I've never use a gilding wax but love the effect it creates, I've been using up scraps on my desk too, guess its time for lots of us to clean up the summer clutter. Great colors on this page too.

  8. I love this fragments page Yvonne, you have made such brilliant good use of all the bits and bobs. It certainly looks as if it would have taken me much longer to create anything like it. Lovely sprayed on colours too.

  15. Amazing colours! The layering looks great and those photos really stand out! I can imagine your desk - do you still have the 'regulation' nine inches by nine inches to work in…if not then it does look as though you may HAVE to tidy!!!!lol! Chrisx
