Just over half way through the month of the 'Time' theme at
Art Journal Journey
I am enjoying visiting as many blogs as I can
to see all the inspirational pages that everyone has been making.
Here is the link to the gallery which is awesome
Lots of spray paints on this background for this page including a gold mica spray.
The daisy type flower is one of my own free hand creations, using thick acrylic paint, not something I do very often as I much prefer to use stamps.
I used one of my handmade[clay molded] clocks for the center.
Stamps used were from Indigo Blu --some were unnamed.
The images were water coloured.
A little detail embossing through a stencil to use up some modelling paste, smeared with gilding wax when dry.

Poor Alice was late, for a' Play Time Fun Day', organised by the March Hare,
I think he may have been a little cross with her as he holds out the watch trying ,
to show her that she was meant to come two days earlier.
I remember those stories of Alice by Lewis Carroll do you?
Thank you for stopping by, every comment you leave is always appreciated.
Your spectacular hand-painted clock flower (like clock tower, only different!!) is just wonderful - and the whole page is so full of vibrant colour and playfulness - I love it.

I was drawn to this page because of the background, then read that you used a clay clock for the center of the hand drawn flower. I never read Alice in Wonderland (I realize I was a math and science geek in school), but I love what you created here. I can understand why Alice would be perplexed.
ReplyDeletethis page really pops, love the flower

LoVe this! Your clock flower(flower clock?) is wonderful! Alice always reminds me of being ill when I was little because my mum used to allow me to have her old story book (a compendium of all sorts including limericks) it always used to make me feel better!! Chrisx
