The new Try it on Tuesdays theme is......
.'Create a Scene'.
just now any route outdoors could be a happy event.
Caring for loved ones, restrictions
and rules for going outdoors
and rules for going outdoors
make it an impossible dream for many of us.
This is the scene I created .
She could be in any town taking a walk along a colourful avenue, any where in the world .
I used stencils to give the impression of tall buildings ,
with distress inks for shading.
Its a sunny day and Millie [TH stamp] had time to stop, look around and enjoy what she could see.
Where would you like to be?

Wonderful page Yvonne. I'm sure you would love to get away from it all, that#s more than understandable. I would like to be by the sea, that would be my big dream. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLovely joyful scene.
ReplyDeleteWowsers! LOVE how you made your background... just awesome!!! Love it!! ((HUGS)) Helen
ReplyDeleteHi, Yvonne! Wow, I really love this page. I'm such a nosy nellie and always look to see what I recognize, if I have that supply, etc. Well, I know I have Millie, she's in the Runway set. But I also spy two Sheena stencils? Burst (I have) and the building I thought about getting. LOVE how you have incorporated them. XOXOX
ReplyDeleteThis such a bright cheery scene Yvonne! No intentions of going any where near a town just yet! We still have to be careful where we go and most days are spent here! I don't think this THING is anywhere near over yet! I wish for things to ease for you too! Big Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteAt least you can take the scenic route in your art Yvonne. Hopefully restrictions won't last forever, and even more hopeful is that your husband will get some good news and improve. I do love this page. She looks ready to take on the city! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous scene! The sunlight shining over the page looks amazing with the building showing through, it looks like your lady is having fun taking the scenic route - perfect 😁. Wishing you a wonderful week! Take care! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteYou created a great scene there, Yvonne. It's very moody and atmospheric with the image and the fading buildings in the background. It made me think of Greece, but no idea why... it looks wonderful. Considering how difficult things must have been recently, you've done amazingly well, but there is light on the horizon! We'll all be back to neo normal soon, lol. Have a good week :-)

It's a lovely sunny scene and Millie looks as if she's enjoying the view. I think there's quite a few of us would like to join her on her journey, but staying safe is the best option at the moment, however, we can all dream.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Avril xx
Wow - that's so cool with the amazing perspective and depth from that stencilled building. The woman is perfectly positioned - though I should think she's on the lookout for a place to get a cold drink or an ice-cream with that sunshine blazing down!

A fabulous scene Yvonne with Millie enjoying her walk. I love how you stencilled the building too. We are still staying home, a five minute walk to the post box is the furthest I have been since early March, with the amount of silly people crowding the beaches and beauty spots I think we will be staying home a lot longer too.

Beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteIn my mind she is wandering around in the sunshine in some Italian city!
