Its Tuesday and its T day
over at Bleubeard and Elizabeths
where we are always made very welcome each Tuesday with a drinks related post.
Just to give a few of you a shock my choice of drink for this post is a......
''coffee'.....
with a frothy milky topping.
All this brew needed was the kettle of boiling water
and for me to open the packet and give it a stir. in the mug.
Not my usual brew of tea, but I did enjoy having this for a change.
My hands on crafting time is still limited, , although I do try to get some base layers started in my journals.
The first page involved stencils and oxide inks.
All the images were added in the digital program I use.
A second base layer with the same stencil
There was a lot of ink left on the stencil so I sprayed it with water
and managed to get the pale softer background.
So another hybrid page created......
this one I will link up to Mia's theme.......Flowers
Thank you for stopping by
However you spend your day, I hope it will be a good one for you.
Lovely artwork. Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteYour art is always so beautiful-I love this one with the rose but I love your tea page too
ReplyDeletestay well Happy T wishes Kathy
Fabulous pages today Yvonne. And nice to get 2 pages from 1 stencil inking. The tea and macarons looks very inviting. Especially with some daisies, because who doesn't love a pretty daisy? And the roses look super on that waterdown look. It will soon be rose season for me and I cannot wait. Hope you are having a wonderful T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteCoffee! What a surprise, glad you enjoyed it. Love both of your journal pages, that background stencil is gorgeous. And the rose looks real. Look after yourself, take care, hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteOh wow, Yvonne. I love that stencil you used. I looked at stencils and they are EXPENSIVE. I love what you did and made two beautiful journal pages as a result. That's a fabulous rose you created for Mia's theme at Art Journal Journey.
ReplyDeleteOf course, it's always tea time on Tuesday. I loved the lovely cups you chose for the digital aspect of this journal page. And a cup of coffee from a packet. HMMM. A nice alternate to tea, it's something I would enjoy once in awhile. Thanks for sharing your art (BOTH ARE FABULOUS) and your coffee with us for T this Tuesday.
Such a pretty background, Yvonne. It is perfect for your lovely tea cups and Macrons. I would love to have one.

Both pages are beautiful. I would like to visit for tea time.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous art journal pages you made! The background looks absolutely beautiful on both pages. And yum - coffee and macaroons are my FAVS!!!!! Have a great day. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteLovely hybrid pages Yvonne. The first page has two of my favourite things featured - macrons and daisies. Oh how I long to be strolling the streets of Paris and making my way to my favourite patisserie for a tiny taste or two. Your second page reminds me I must go and check to see how my peonies are doing. They are such lovely flowers but as soon as the rain comes they are washed away or bruised and battered. One day I will pick them to save them from that fate and enjoy them for longer.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx
Two lovely pages - lovely colours so soft and gentle in your stencilling.
Hi Yvonne. I am coming back to invite you to my blogaversary. Have a look on my blog. Kisses, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI am finding that a lot of my comments last week went missing - I know I did leave a comment here so have no idea why! Chrisx
