Miss Rose is calling in to add some colour to your world and
bring you a friendly hug to brighten your day.
This is how she looks in my journal.
A stencil background, she came from a die cut block book [StudioLight]
After posing for her photo, the extra flowers. words and stitched frame were added in the digital program I use.
Sorry I cannot attribute the quote.
I had it written down with a few others that caught my eye in recent weeks while surfing the net.
I will be linking to Mia's theme of..... Flowers .....
She would also fit the theme of Lovely Ladies at
Thank you for calling in today.
Stay safe and keep well.

ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Another lovely die cut from SL - their images are so much fun. Love the background and the words are lovely. Thinking of her posing for the photo made me smile...a friend of mine was blocked from FB yesterday for posting a photo of her very young granddaughter with no top on...I'll tell her to use a flower next time :-)

I like this image Yvonne, and it is super for Mia's challenge. I have this image also, and the pop outs in that book and her other books are lots of fun and good for a fast page. I hope all is well and you have a super weekend. Hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteYour lovely rose lady has such a positive message for us. When all else fails, the flowers in our gardens can lift our spirits. Quite an appropriate message for these times. So glad you also shared this beauty with Art Journal Journey and Mia's theme. Hope all is well in your world and thanks for thinking of me.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous page Yvonne, Miss Rose looks happy posing against the stencilled background. Love the words you added, so very true.

Lovely 'hot hot' background colours which works so well with your central image. She looks great with her contrasting blue hair and I just love the idea of her body being a rose and she being known as Miss Rose too. You had me with the stitching, I looked and wondered how on earth you had sewn that on a machine whilst it was still attached to your ring binding in the book. Very effective, wish I could do things like that.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet xx (no idea how to use drawing programs in a computer)
