Make each day count.

'Make each day Count'.
This has got to be one of my favourite  word additions  to a journal page just now.

Another red water coloured flower page for Mia's theme over at

A smudged and splashed background was the starting point
. and a stamp [StudioLight]
that came with its own background random stamping.

After I'd stamped the flower and words  I added more splodges.   I took the photo and went off to play
in the computer program I use.
Where   I added the thready looking flower group
on the left of the page.

Thank you for calling in today.
Stay safe and keep well.

  5. Great work and quote. We too often forget about both. Well, I do take too much for granted at times, thank you for sharing this.
    Do you sell your work?

    1. No I don't sell my work, its done purely for my pleasure. If I have made a batch of cards [sadly not so often these days] I will take them to a Charity shop for them to use to raise funds.

  6. What a beautiful page! I love the colours that you used and how you enhanced the page with your digital magic - perfect (as always!) 😀. I hope that you have been enjoying sunshine where you are, we've been busy gardening and enjoying tandem rides once more. Happy and creative wishes! Take care! Hugs, Jo x

  7. Very nice sentiment. The older we get is when we truly understand the meaning, eh? Well, you know I like the red flower. I've been spirit-lifted by seeing multiple versions in your posts so I'm looking forward to a lifted spirit today. It's getting hard some days...again...it's like getting a cold and getting over it and then having it passed back to you, rinse and repeat. I keep thinking we'll look back on this and say 'Everything changed in an instant and it was never the same again.' XOX

  9. I could have sworn I left a comment on this piece yesterday, but I had another busy day and so who knows. I love those poppies and their color just jumps off the page. The white space really works with the bright warm colors. Hope you have a lovely weekend and some nice weather. They are saying snow tonight. And it is May. Hugs-Erika

  14. Such an important thought... especially at the moment when days can sometimes melt into one another without really taking hold. I adore the colours, the delicate stamped image and the stencilled bubbles bringing happiness and hope. Lovely!
