Day 7
for AEDM
I didn't get to post these pieces yesterday, the light was so poor in the afternoon for photos.
Both involved paint, stencils and stamps and very inky fingers.
Day 8
for AEDM
I decided today.... to blend both the pieces together in the digital program I use.
This meant that I could show all of one of the stamped images and have bit computer [clean hands] play altering the smaller piece.
Thank you for calling intoday, I hope you are having a good day.
Both versions are beautiful Yvonne! They definitely have a calmness and stillness about them.

Wonderful artwork Yvonne... x
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that blue and purples stain your hands so much? I still have blue fingers from making Izzi's card! Lovely, Yvonne. Love the shades you used.

Absolutely gorgeous cards, Yvonne, both your digital and actual card. Both are lovely. There is definitely a calming effect. It's a shame you had to get so inky. Seems green does it for me.
ReplyDeleteOMGoshhhhh this is gorgeous. The thistle is one of my favorite flowers.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pages! I love the skeleton leaf stamp that you used and the vibrancy of the purple is stunning 😁. I've been battling with taking photos too, luckily today we had sunshine so I got a couple of pages taken - yay! Lighting is always a problem this time of year isn't it ...lol 😉. Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece, love how you combined the images, great colours, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe card is beautifully edited and digitally composed, I think great!
ReplyDeletea wonderful Weekend, Elke
I love the purple/blue of this page. When I first saw it it reminded me of the old mineo machine we used to use at school to make copies of our papers. Back before copy machines. And although I don't want to go back to those days, seeing that color is a nice memory. Fabulous page Yvonne, and happy start to your weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteBrilliant work on this page, love the gorgeous colours and wow set out digitally in a most rewarding way.xx
ReplyDeleteGosh I do love purple and blue together! So pretty and your digi skills are masterful. I've only been once to UK and that was in the early summer when everything was perfectly bright, so it still boggles me a bit when so many Europeans and Canadians talk about not being able to photograph art because of the poor daytime light. And of course where I live, if the daylight was that poor, then you could bet that a tornado is fixing to hit, lol. I saw a map once where European cities were transposed on top of north america according to their latitudes. London was in Canada, Paris right on the border between Canada and USA. Then another map showed US cities transposed ovver Europe. Houston was in northern Egypt! xoxo
