Hello to everyone who calls in to see me today and to the folk from
where each Tuesday we are always made to feel very welcome with a drinks related post
My cuppa of choice was not the mug of frothy chocolate that you can see in the first photo....
Yes you would guess....... it is a mug of tea
.It is 12 o clock mid day as I wrote the post and it is so grey and dark outside it could be evening.
I have a few scheduled posts this week so I have my fingers crossed that it may be a bit brighter outside as the week goes by.
I posed myself a question as I created this journal page Are coffee beans fruits or vegetables.
This is what Wikipedia has to say on the subject
Is coffee a fruit?
according to this link.... yes
Are coffee beans vegetable?....... I don't have the time to or inclination to link you to all the answers I found on the net to this question.. So I will leave it up to you all to make up your own minds on this subject.
I will link my page to
as along with my drink, a variety of fruit and a few coffee beans
, it will fit Rike's theme of Fruits and Veggies.
Thank you for stopping by
and however you spend your day
I hope it will be a good one for you.
O.k.
ReplyDeleteeven chocolate is fruit as long as chocolate beans grow on trees and fruits are healthy aren't they???---lol!!!
A wonderful page for AJJ! Thank you !
Happy T-Day!

Lovely journal page, and chocolate moccha sounds like a great treat. Beans are beans, so that means they have to be healthy! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWonderful artwork. I thought a fruit had seeds, and a vegetable did not, but I never thought about coffee beans. I guess if you can plant them and they grow, that makes them a fruit, right? And technically tomatoes are a fruit, even though we call it a vegetable. :-) Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great page Yvonne. Fruit and chocolate-yummy! And I always love your cute mugs. You have quite the collection-as I have said before. Hope life is good and its a great T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLove this page Yvonne, you've used some lovely images. I like the idea of coffee being a fruit - hope it counts as one of my 5 a day!

ReplyDeleteI had "Chocolate-tea" :-)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful page, grey here, too, and I should eat some fruit (but it´s too cold!). Happy T-Day.
Your mocha digital piece is just beautiful Yvonne! Aah, yes the grey days now at this time of yer especially do make it look like evening. I almost want to just stay in bed and curl up with a book or a movie:) Here's to sunny days ahead. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteYour digital page is very lovely Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteYes we woke up to very grey skies this morning (tuesday) some rough weather moving in later today through Thursday.
I am to make me a cup of hot tea Happy T wishes Kathy
Your page is so exciting with all that fruits, this wonderful background and the mug of frothy chocolate! It's an interesting question, is a coffee bean a fruit or vegetable? I never thought about it, I think it's a bean and beans are vegetables :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for another great entry to my theme at AJJ!
Wish you a happy day! Rike
Coffee as a fruit explains why it works well with dessert ;) Happy T Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the vintage look and feel of your coffee page and I've never thought of whether coffee was a fruit or vegetable before so thanks for clarifying 😁. Your mug is so delightful, those little bunnies look adorable especially the one with glasses ...lol 😉. Sending you very happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteCoffee, tea, I love all my beverages. Happy T day xxx
ReplyDeleteFunny I’ve never thought if coffee beans are fruit or veg! Your art page is lovely with all the fruit and the coffee looks delicious

I love the chocolate o'clock. I can't function if the day is grey and gloomy. I noticed Himself is having the same problem. So for Christmas I ordered a light for SAD. Hopefully, it will work. Happy T Day.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting collage. I don't care if coffee beans are fruit or veg, I only care that I have some in the cupboard to grind for my next cup.
ReplyDeleteWowzers, I'm Gobsmacked. Spent some time reading, never knew about coffee berries or coffee beans coming from a fruit tree! Very nice digi work, xoxo
ReplyDeleteLovely page, Yvonne. Now you've got me wondering if coffee beans are fruits or vegetables. I wish you'd given us an answer. I'll have to look it up. lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day! Eileen xx
Very interesting! I will go check out the link you included. I drink tea too, rather than chocolate. My hubby drinks that.
ReplyDeleteJust a note, Elizabeth wanted me to pass on, she will be by when she gets her computer up and going.
Love the images that you used in your journal page. That frothy drinks sounds very yummy right now.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I never thought about a coffee bean being a fruit or vegetable. I would say it id definitely not a fruit so does that means it is a veggie?
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
Wow, what a beautiful and delicious creation. Lovely
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say, other than I realize I'm very late visiting. Your digital chocolate has me wanting some now. In fact, I bought some white chocolate peppermint bark the last time I was at the store. Of course, I knew what you would actually drink for T this week. I see it's another of the adorable rabbits you seem to love so much.
ReplyDeleteYour chocolate infused journal page is beautiful. I adore the beautiful fruit you have shared. Those pears really caught my eye, but the entire menagerie of fruit was so well done. Thanks for sharing it with us using Rike's theme at Art Journal Journey.
Still loving your bunny mugs, and this one is adorable. Thanks for sharing your journal entry, your bean research, and your mug of tea with us for T this Tuesday, which is now Wednesday.
Yes, chocolate is a mashed up bean. A friend from church who comes from Equador, brought one a few months back, fro her father's plantation. She cut it open for us to see. Then the week after that she mashed it and let us taste it. It tasted sweet (she had not added anything) and like bitter chocolate. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteBy the same reasoning coffee is also vegetable (like tea). If you make your coffee from coffee beans that is. I'm not sure about processed coffee you buy in the supermarket (pods or pads and instant).
Your mocha collage is beautiful.
Happy T-Day (belated),
Hugs,
Lisca
This really does look fabulous! I am not drinking posh coffees at the moment - I really have to force my sugars down! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteThere's such a cornucopia of goodies on your page - yum! I love the vintage warmth of the background textures too. We've had the same dull grey days as you... so relieved to see some sunlight today. Have a lovely weekend.
