This mixed media page started off with a colour wash and some stencils. . Next a scrap of fabric. I created the ATC size topper using a fun stamped image with the mice hoping for a sip from a mug of hot chocolate. not tea as advertised in the background. Just right to drink on a cooler day as the season is changing into autumn here in the Northern Hemisphere.
The words were computer generated in the digital program I use.

Such a fun page! I love those little mice, aren't they adorable and I think that they might share the hot chocolate with us ...lol 😀. This is a beautiful take on our theme and hot chocolate sounds good to me with autumn fast approaching; we've been having cooler days although it's still been sunny here of late as well. Great way to combine challenges Yvonne, and another different interpretation...hot chocolate...yum. It really has been chilly enough to need warming in the North, hasn't it? Love the use of the fabric and the vivid images. Beautiful.

I love the idea of using an ATC the journal frames it with perfection. Hot chocolate winds down our Autumn days in prep for Winter that will be here before we know it. Lovely little spread Yvonne. ReplyDeleteYour little mice are adorable, Yvonne. I wish it felt like autumn here. It was nearly 35 C here today and I think we will go from hot to winter. I adore how your little mice are trying to get a sip of that hot chocolate. This is so sweet.
