Blessings and welcome rain

Happy Tuesday to everyone who calls in to see me today.
Its T day over at Bleubeard and Elizabeths

where we are always make to feel very welcome with a drinks related post.
You can see my cuppa is sitting by the computer as I was creating this digital page.
I didn't just have tea day in mind .

I was also thinking of the
Count your blessings. that
 set for this months challenge.
I had this quote noted in my book and I have  seen it a few times lately in Blogland.
We may not know it was a   blessings at first, but I'm sure that if we take time to sit, relax and look back on the day , we will find that we have been blessed in some way.  Even if we didn't realise it at the time.

On my one armed holiday a few weeks back, to the Lake District we visited Sizergh Castle,
OH was the photographer for me, it was so hot to be outside, but we did manage to take  a few.
It seems appropriate that  on a rainy day today[hooray!!!!!!]
I can share some sunny views with you.

It wasn't blossoms that were falling around us today it was RAIN
Who would have thought that  I would be thinking  of rain as  a blessing ,
we usually have too much of it in the U.K.
But our fields and  gardens really need it so do our  farmers.
It makes me feel for the folk who struggle to get supplies of clean water.
Something most of us can  take for granted, so yes we are blessed to have water to drink.

What ever your day has in store for you today, I hope you have a good one.

  6. What a stunning blessing, Yvonne. You can't go wrong with a Rumi quote. It is beautiful, as is the lovely tea cup and flowers. You always do digital SO well. And I am blessed to know you and your beautiful art. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey.

I LOVE your country rabbit. SO cute.

Sizergh Castle looks really familiar to me. Your husband took some incredible shots. The grounds must have been well watered, because everything was so green. Thanks for sharing your trip to Sizergh Castle, your awesome art, and your adorable country rabbit mug with us for T this Tuesday.

  8. This really is a beautiful page Yvonne, I'd love this as a napkin or rice paper piece. Fabulous design. Rain really is a blessing and as much as we in the UK may complain about the amount we may get the last couple of months has really turned the table and made us appreciate it's being a little better.
The Castle and grounds looks like a great place to visit, I always want to peer inside the windows when we are not allowed to enter hee hee!!
Happy T Day Hugs Tracey xx

  29. Just realised I didn't answer your AALL and create question - I either use Versafine or Ranger Archival usually - and let them soak into the page. Hope that helps, Chrisxx

  30. NOT a place that I have heard of so I shall check it out in more detail! We have been getting our share of storms in the mountains which I could have done without this week as we have visitors. Almost time for us to be heading back home sadly but it will be nice to get some crafting time again as I've not done much here!!!!!

  31. Another lovely spread, I admire you digi artists. Gives me a headache when I try it. Probably touchy-feely withdrawal, haha. You are so right about blessings, they are all around us if we'd just see them. Guess that was Rumi's point. That castle looks like exploring fun. xoxo
