Off on a bike to Paris..... a recycling collage for AJJ.

 I have   a last page .... for Alison's Recycle/Collage  theme over at
If time had allowed I would have liked to have  made  more this past month.

I have many pieces of napkins, stamped and printed tissue that  maybe should have been thrown away, but, with a recycle theme  at AJJ it was just about finding enough of the pieces, that might  fit  together for the page I had in mind to create.

A little  shading  with  distress ink helped to blend them altogether.  As you can see I also added some other scraps. The tape with the wording had been sent to me by a friend.

I am not happy with the photo as it makes the page look much brighter than it is in real life. However I am not complaining as the sun has been shining for a welcome change here today.

Thank you for calling in, your visit is really appreciated.

  3. This is such a brilliant collage! I like those soft colours and how well all fits together! Same to me this month, I had too less time to come up with my ideas and to use up all the hoarded scraps and bits.
But it is good to have work in the garden when the weather is finally so nice - I managed to do many things that were necessary- so I won't complain too much!Happy sunny weekend dear Yvonne! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the amazing inspirational pages you linked this month again to Art Journal Joureny!

  4. You put all these napkin bits together perfectly. I am in awe of the softness, the equal bits of feminine and masculine images you used, and how well it all came together as a cohesive spread. It is beautiful.

Since it has been my month to recycle, I have genuinely enjoyed all the entries you have created for us. Life occasionally gets in the way of art, which we can't forget, either. I am simply thrilled you found time to share your incredible art, including this latest entry, with us at Art Journal Journey.

  9. A page full of lovely interesting bits and all put together so well.
We're never happy - complaining about the weather is too dull to take a photo and again when the sun is shining too brightly!
    Have a great weekend.
