Become You

Over at Tag Tuesday
the new theme is   'Use your Scraps'

I think Valerie knows us crafters very well when she chose this theme.
I am so guilty of hoarding even the smallest of scraps.

Take the wooden heart on this tag, it had snapped at the top and side rim, so got placed in the bits box. Today I have stuck it back together to use on my tag.
I also used a piece of printed material, fancy wool. which I have no idea how long that has been lurking, fibers and papers. The base of the tag is a remnant of stenciled paper,  at the moment it is quite bendy, I will have to look out a piece of stiffer card to back it with.
The picture I think may be from Crafty Individuals.

Thank you for calling in to see me today. you are very welcome here.

  1. What a gorgeous tag you have composed from your scraps - you see, it was so tight to save them! In cave-man times, the men used to go hunting, and the women gathered all the bits and pieces they could find - in those days it was berries and twigs, these days we gather scraps and hoard them! Thanks so much for joining us again at TT, hugs, Valerie

  7. I'm with you. I save even the smallest scraps, then later wonder why I saved them. Your tag is fabulous, and I'm in total awe. It is simply out of this world and doesn't look like scraps at all.

  10. Oh lovely - the colours are so uplifting and I love that charming vintage face just peeping out. I've taken to backing all my tags on leftover cardboard - it gives them a very satisfying sense of permanence.

  12. This colour combination is amazing! The colours remind me of fruit salad sweets, do you remember them - anyway I digress ... lol 😁. The vintage feel is wonderful and the heart you rescued looks perfect now you've mended it. The fabric and piece of wool finishes the piece beautifully too. Have a lovely weekend! J 😊
