Birds of a Feather drink tea together.

Its Tuesday again and time for me to call in at
Bleubeard and Elizabeths and share my cuppa  on
T day

We have had some very frosty then dull  days here this past week.
So decided that writing the Christmas cards for posting should be one of my first tasks.

I found my posting size guide. very necessary as the stamp price, is relevant to the size, thickness and weight of the card.
Notice Mr Robin  was to hand to keep me happy in the task.
Oh dear,  what I expected, happened, I really need to make a few more.......
Did I make get on making them. no chance, I needed to get back to some semblance of what can be called normal for an hour or so.
I began this   journal page for
  Valerie's
theme at
''Light and Darkness''.
As  I have two birds enjoying a cuppa and discussing how they like their tea served.
Will it be dark and strong the way I like it. or light coloured, with milk in it.

Did I go back to making the cards....NO...
the next day, we went off to the Farm shop  to do a bit of shopping.

It looked quite festive with the fresh fir trees outside and the lights twinkling

It has a few artisan shops , in the converted barns as well

The sheep  outside, were not for sale.

Of course I didn't forget to get a photo of the plastic, life size cows just inside the entrance..
Its good to see the look on people's faces as they drive past to the car park, I wonder how many of them, at first, think they are real.

Update on the card making, they are all written and ready to post.
Hooray!

Thank you for calling in to visit with me today,
you are very welcome here.

My post for Try it on Tuesdays will follow on soon.

  4. Your journal page is fantastic. I adore it. It is perfect for T, too. I want to know where you got your size guide. I need one of those. TRULY!!! I should probably make one, instead of getting out my calipers and trying to measure that way.

I have all my cards and tip-ins completed, but most are still sitting, waiting for me to get off my duff and get postage stamps for them. You are SO far ahead of me!

Again, I love the light and dark tea, and of course, your adorable robin mug, too. The Farm shop was very festive. I can see why you would want to go there. Yes, the cows were very realistic.

Thanks for sharing the AJJ page, the Farm shop, and your tea with us for T this Tuesday.

  5. Great journal page. I love the quote...very fun!!!! And I do the same thing with Christmas cards. Most years I put them off so long none ever get sent. :) That looks like a great garden center. I thought for a moment those sheep were real, well maybe they are.:) Happy T Day Yvonne. Hugs-Erika

  12. Birds drinking tea together is a wonderful page. I like my tea with a splash of cream and a bit of sweetener. Good for you for getting your Christmas cards done and out the door. I had good intentions, but we know where that leads. (-; Thanks for the visit to the shop. Looks like a wonderful place to explore. Enjoy your day!

  13. I much prefer it when they convert old buildings. So often they are destroyed or left to go to ruin. This looks like a perfect re-use, animals and all ;) Happy T Tuesday :)

  20. That farm shop collective looks very inviting, indeed. Did you find something nice? Or were you 'strong' and left without buying anything :) I admire you for handcrafting all your holiday cards. I would never have the time to do that. Hopefully I will be getting around to sending any at all this year... oh well

  21. Hi Meggymay, thanks for visiting me and sorry I am so late but at least I got here this time! Yes I am excited about meeting Luna, and scared too! She will be here on 31st Dec which seems ages to wait but at least the visitors will be all gone and the Christmas madness, so I can settle her down and house train her in peace - imagine that going on with a house full, if she didn't accidentally get let out or she got scared of so many people or two little people! I hate to think of her waiting, but it is for the best. Love your journal page and the plastic cows.
