A digital page for
where Linda has inspired us with this months theme--For the record/Inspired by a song.
I think Percy is trying to woo Pretty with a cup of tea in this scene,
They say the old songs were good ones and this is sure very old.
Tea for Two
It featured in a Musical in 1925 and has been recorded by numerous artists over the years, including Doris day, Bing Crosby and Smokey Robinson in 2006.
Created in my Craft Studio, using images for Mischief Circus kits, my own and found items
The theme of this week Dreamers Challenge over at
Digital Whisper is ' Mouse'.
So the duo will be off to visit over there as well.
Thank you for calling to see me today, I always appreciate the comments you leave for me.
Hmm... it doesn't look to me as if Pretty is particularly interested in Percy or his tea! Love the lavender and those luscious looking macaroons. Such a whimsical page full of fun.

Wonderful page Yvonne, I think Pretty is playing hard to get - but I don't think she has spied those lovely macaroons - yet.

mousy! P.
ReplyDeleteThis is certainly impressive. This is something that I would love to see during T each Tuesday. The page is perfect, the composition is ideal, the attention to detail is splendid, and the subject matter makes me smile. Now if only Pretty can be persuaded to get off her wheel and join Percy for tea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely page, I will be singing again all day. Great colour combo, too, and thanks for linking your lovely work to Art Journal Journey again. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat's just LOVELY --- what a great composition on this page and charming with the chosen song!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all your great ideas to the theme this month again Yvonne!
