Make a Rainbow.....
is the new challenge theme over at Try it on Tuesdays.
Please pop over to see how we all interpreted this theme at TioT's.
We are looking forward to seeing all the rainbow colours you use to create your art or project.
This was how the page looked before I added the computer generated images in the digital program I use. Some areas were covered up with lighter shades and even though the computer is a clean way of adding colour I did enjoy creating this page.
One of these days I hope to get out paints and get properly messy again, but its hard for me to focus after all that has been going on in my family these past months.
I hope to get calling in to visit everyone soon.
Thank you for stopping by, stay safe and keep well.
I will also link this page to Art Journal Journey
where we are remembering Eileen with a theme she had chosen .'.Inspired by.'
My inspiration was the bright colours I chose to use on the page.
Oh my gosh Yvonne... this is just amazing! Look at all those rainbow hearts.. LOVE it! Have a super week! ((HUGS)) Helen
ReplyDeleteVery cool! Love the girl and the concept of painting our own rainbows - which of course we totally need to do! Very fun page and thoughts and love your colors! Hugz
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful page! I love the bright rainbow colours with the heart shaped hearts forming the rainbow, so pretty 😀. Have a wonderful week and sending you happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeletep.s. sorry I haven't visited for a while, I hurt my wrist so was unable to type, all ok now so just playing catch up ...lol 😉. x
A lovely page Yvonne, I do like the idea of painting your own rainbows, especially with love and hearts.

That is so clever Yvonne. I love the idea of the girl painting those rainbow hearts across the sky. Thinking of you. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI have zero clue how to make digital art but I’m so fascinated with it. This rainbow page is so sweet! I love seeing how a page starts and progresses and changes from it’s beginning.
ReplyDeleteFabulous and colourful page with a great sentiment. I came home from the hospital today, I feel okay just very tired! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling and original entry, Yvonne. I love the hearts and the butterflies, too. This is such a great entry and perfect for honoring Eileen at Art Journal Journey, too, dear.
ReplyDeleteSweet and uplifting!
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day xx
Inspiring rainbow page, Yvonne! My dad passed 2 years ago last month and in some ways I am still stuck in numbness and not really wanting to leave it. I think the COVID self-isolation has made it stronger. LOL, just read and article today with the title something like 'The pandemic is improving, so why do you still feel miserable?' - it was calling to me! I do think some of it is I'm a sucker for habit. Now we gotta change again, even tho it's a blessing (ok, sometime this year hopefully). I'd be a full time job for any therapist, heeheehee XOX
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely swirl of rainbow hearts. I hope you feel like painting with paints one day but painting digitally is just as real and you get great effects with your digital program as we can see here.
ReplyDeleteLove from Sheila
A beautiful rainbow page Yvonne!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Alison xx
So colourful.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Beautiful- I love the rainbow - full of love and hope for your beautiful girl! I hope you'll pick up your paints one day soon. Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled by your wonderful journal oh so cute, the girl in the middle and the colorful hearts. It touches me in my heart .... You have been through a lot and hope that you will soon feel better again, hug Elke
ReplyDeleteI thought you had painted all those hearts - gosh imagine how long that would have taken you. It is a truly inspired idea and I love it.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Yvonne that you are not yet ready to pick up your paints again - I do hope that it is not too long before you do. Maybe if we can avoid another wave and the sun comes out you will start to feel better. Sending love to you
Hugs, Neet xx
So lovely page, so many rainbow hearts, I love it!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
Love this theme Yvonne, rainbows bring a smile to us all and that saying has always been one of my favourites. Beautiful Digi work. Hugs Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteLove this! Happy!
ReplyDeleteThose rainbow hearts are adorable! Still sending you healing thoughts but maybe they are not strong enough :-(
