A journal page using up some scraps from the pile I tipped up on the table.
It was a mop up background to start with to which I added some strips of washi tape.
This is a photo of how it looked with a few of the bits and pieces and die cuts, before I started sticking them all down . I could have added even more but decided to stop . the pile was never going to get any smaller, no matter how many pieces I picked out.
I even added a few digital pieces while I was in the crafting mood.
I will link to Jo's theme.... Texture
Thank you for calling in today, your visit is always appreciated.
This page would also fit the theme at Try it on Tuesdays..Use your scraps

Hi, Yvonne! Hope you are well. I'd say you did well with those scraps! What a delightful page. I love her expression. Hmmm... haha XXO
ReplyDeleteI so enjoy drawing faces like this one, painting them too at times - well not quite as good as this one of yours but I like to pretend my faces are ok. For some reason I have always enjoyed different faces, the bone structure and eyes always fascinate me.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful page and it looks so planned so it was a joy to read that you had used up scraps from your table to make up the composition. A very beautiful fae and page.
Hugs, Neet xx
Love those lines of washi tape creating structure and then the beautiful face looking so serene amidst the colours. Lovely page.
