Gifts and pockets

Thank you

Above is the journal  page I made  to keep in a safe place the pieces Elizabeth sent to me to celebrate the 7th Birthday of the weekly
T stands for Tuesdays gathering where we get together to share a drinks related post

Even safer is the piece of handmade paper  that   came in the envelope.
I will use that when I have more time to create.

The cats were added digitally they wanted to join the party and visit with Bleubeard and Squiggles.

I have missed calling in for tea  for a few weeks,
but I assure you many cups have been consumed as I care for my hubby.
I chipped one of my favourite cups , but as I hate to throw things away,
it now serves as a holder for brushes and pencils.
so I hope this will be acceptable as my cuppa ,
to let me join this weeks gathering.
It may not be today but I will call in to see you soon.

My journal page includes some pockets and tags
I will join in Alisons theme of
......Pockets and tags
Stay safe everyone
and look after yourselves.

  1. Glad you were able to join us today Yvonne. I have been thinking about you and hope things are going smoothly and maybe with even a little bit of good news. I like what you did with you cup. I do the same when I clean out some mugs but like them too much to get rid of them. Happy t day. And I love the page for AJJ. Those digital cats are super Additions. I hope Bleubeard and Squiggles like them too. Hugs Erika

  2. A wonderful page Yvonne!
No-one can access the AJJ blog at the moment, can you check the settings please, as it's denying access to invited readers.
    Thanks Alison xx

  4. Finding a new use for an old mug is always gratifying. They make good holders for brushes or pencils or chop sticks, don't they?

  6. What a fabulous page! I love the splashes of colour and of course the pocket that you created with all those goodies from Bleubeard and Elizabeth is amazing 😁. I love how youtyou added the kitty cats too, they look like they look very curious to see Bluebeard in the cup as if they are saying hello (grin!). Thinking of you and wishing you a very happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x

  8. Glad you could join us today, Yvonne. That's an excellent way to repurpose your favorite - now chipped - cup. Now you'll see it even more often I bet.

    Happy T-Day! Hugs, Eileen

  9. What a clever way to display the pieces I sent. Very clever interpretation and absolutely perfect for Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey, dear. I absolutely adore the cats and both the boys give it 2 paws up because they like it when cats join anything they can be a part of.

I'm SO glad you were able to join us for T this week, because we have all been worried about you. Thanks for sharing that mug that I would never get rid of either, along with your beautiful art with us for T this Tuesday.

  16. What a terrific way to display the pieces Elizabeth sent you.
I'm sorry about the chipped mug. I have such a mug too. It sits on my desk with pens etc in it.The handle broke off. I repaired it, but didn't dare use it again for hot drinks, so now it has a new lease of life.
Wishing you all the best and lots of strength with looking after hubby.
    Happy belated T-Day,
    Hugs,
    Lisca

  18. Lovely page Yvonne, and so useful too. I do like the addition of the cats, they are so cute and look like mischievous kittens dotted around the page.
I too use an old cup I could not part with that got chipped for my pens in my craftroom. Too precious to throw out.
    Hugs, Neet x
