The beauty of natute for TioT's

The Beauty of Nature....
is the new challenge theme over at Try it on Tuesdays

There are many ways to interpret this theme, flowers, birds, animals etc.
Please pop over to TioT's and see how the team interpreted this theme.

This is how my page began .... a stamped image  and lots of blue colour shades.I added the extra blue birds in the digital program I use.

You may ask why I chose blue  for my page and there wouldn't be a sensible answer.
I was feeling a bit low , then I looked out the window and saw the blue sky and even heard the birds singing in the garden.

A short time  later  I inked up the stamp again and used water colour paints  to create this card topper.
I'm still not sure which version  I prefer,  but I do know that I like to use stamped images,  each time I can get a different result  to use..

Thank you for calling in today
stay safe and well

  1. Such beautiful artwork! I'll choose both as my favourites as I love robins whether blue or in full colour ...lol 😉. I can see why you were inspired by blue skies and birdsong, it's been lovely here too although sunny it has been a little colder the last few days. Wishing you a happy new week, stay safe and well! Hugs, Jo x

  3. That is a gorgeous stamp Yvonne. I love both of these pieces, but the blue is quite stunning. Oh bluebirds are beautiful. I have actually started seeming some at my work, but I think it is too wooded at my home for them. Thanks for this wonderful piece and sharing it. It is really inspirational. Hugs-Erika

  6. You chose the best part of nature in spring to focus on, Yvonne. Waking up to their lovely song and seeing them in my little yard always brings a smile to my face. They are so bold at this time of year and are such a delight. I love both your pieces. The blues are beautiful, but I will always go back to stamping...stamps are so versatile and I enjoy the challenge of making them do what I want them to do - most of the time, lol. I often get it wrong, but the learning curve is part of the fun :-)

  7. There's nothing better in Nature than Birdsong, so uplifting.
I love the blue page, reminds me of a frosty morning, but the colourful version is what we've got to look forward to with warmer days.
    Stay safe, Avril xx

  11. Beautiful bluebirds - the page is so serene and the composition is great leading the eye up the page to fly away. The robin-coloured robin also makes me happy... I'm friends with several robins in my garden at the moment, and they are keeping me happy (if not sane - I chatter away to them in words and in birdsong!). It's such a wonderful theme, and you can bet I'll be along to play soon!

  12. I love them both but you can't not love a blue sky as the inspiration for this fabulous page. The Robin's song is so sweet too and I'm sure the bright flowers in the second page are making him sing louder! Hugs, Chrisx
