Mr Fox for AJJ

I am  enjoying  making collage journal pages and when I saw the paper I used for the background
in a Daphne's Diary magazine I knew it would end up being used in my journal.
I will be joining the folk over at
Art Journal Journey

for  Jo's theme this month of
Flora and Fauna

On the left are a few photos  showing what I used.
Mr Fox was fussy cut from a colouring book..
I  meet with a group of friends at the library in the next village [the one we are doing our best to keep open]
and we spend our time chatting and colouring. I usually take my own pencils but on this particular day I had to use the ones we keep there. So the blending isn't so good, I have learn't that trying to add more colour  later doesn't work on these type of book pages,   so I have left Mr Fox  as he looks in real life.

Thank you for stopping by, you are always welcome here.

  3. Mr. Fox looks wonderful with his amazing leaf design! The magazine bachground and the muslin stained fabric work beautifully as his backdrop and the quote is perfect too 😁. Sounds like fun meeting up with your friends for some crafting and a chat! Thanks so much for joining us at Art Journal Journey and Happy Thursday! J 😊 x

  4. Mr.Fox himself looks fantastic with it's gorgeous patterns and with a masterful eye you brought together fantastic bits and pieces to give all the perfect touches for the page! You have such an eye for this. I am always in awe of your great collages dear Yvonne! Love the little fabric scrap and all the wonderful details you added here! Isn't it super you can keep open the library!? Maybe you should give a Mixed Media course there. I bet folk would love it!
Thank you for yet another gorgeous and unique styled entry to Jo's wonderful theme!
Happy Thursday! Here it got extremely cold again and is raining cats and dogs. Brr. So maybe a page or two more for me? I don't know - the house needs a good cleaning session as well.

    Hugs, Susi

  12. Mr Fox look Fantastic layered on top of that magazine and added elements, you've created a great page Yvonne. It's so sad when I hear of these groups struggling to stay open, it all seems to be about numbers now sadly. To me even if one person attends there is a need.. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that there is hope it will stay open.
Have a super weekend Tracey xx
