Year of the Rooster

Happy Chinese New Year.

I started off making this digital page for Art Journal Journey
where Erika's theme  for this month is Every journal Page Tells a Story.

I have been thinking a lot recently about animals and if only they could speak to us and maybe  tell us, what they think, how they feel, are they well, are they happy.
In my imagination these two birds are discussing  their  morning call,  ''crow,''
and perhaps it may sound better on the ear  of the humans if it was set to music.
Now that would be something to hear.
So as its Chinese New Year and the Year of the Rooster
I was able to add a the internet searched medallion.
Thank you for calling in to see me today, you are most welcome here.

  1. Your page is lovely, great that you have used the clear, bright, traditional Chinese colours. If animals could talk they might sometimes tell us things we don't want to hear! Have a happy day, will answer your mail later when I am back on my 'real' computer! Hugs, Valerie

  5. I really, really enjoyed this latest AJJ entry, and it is so wonderful and appropriate for today. I like the traditional colors you chose and the Roosters you picked for your entry. This is a wonderful piece.

Of course I think the rooster and hen might think they are already making music!

  6. I have often wondered what animals think. Like when the dog is in the car and you leave to run for groceries. Does she think in her dog mind "where is she going" or does she just watch you walk away with a blank mind. I know dogs don't have a huge amount of human language to think, but I am often curious. I love your Chinese New year page. It does look like those roosters are having a a little tete a tete. Hope you had a great day. Thanks for joining in again at AJJ. You've shared some wonderful stories this month for sure.
