Altered Portraits.

A none messy crafting day today,
but still loads of fun creating digital pages.

This first one is for the new theme over at
where this weeks theme is
' Mosaic'.
The small mosaic patterns in two of the corners,  show this portrait in its original colours.

Next page is my take on giving this famous painting a
 ''Make Over''
which is the theme over at
Take a Word Challenge

I don't think Mona minds the new hat,
but she certainly isn't happy with the shoes.

Thank you for stopping by to see what I have been making.
The comments you leave for me are always appreciated.

Additional elements used were
 from Mischief Circus kits.

  1. Wow! Both pictures are superb, Meggy May. I love your "mosaic" and Mona's makeover is stunning. A huge standing ovation from me.

  2. To the first one: so she has a lot of photos for her daily necessaries!
to the second one: she should stop looking like a museums-girl and should put her shoes on and go to life!
    You make me smile! P.

  8. Woohoo! This Mona rocks!!!! I think this one should be hanging alongside the original because she's so much happier looking now that she's decided to take those shoes off & don a funky hat instead!

  14. I love both of these - especially the first with the echoed image in the small mosaic corners, so effective, and the "slicing" of the image really makes you look at it freshly. Mona (moaner?) is hilarious!
