A mixed media journal page today.
It started off digital, with stored and found images and a couple from Mischief Circus.
You can see where my decorated Joy came from, in the photo below.
The journalling I added reads.....
'Joy and peace to the world this Christmastime.'

This is one of the cards that I made this year using Clarity stamps.
A simple one layer and quite a challenge in itself for me.
With a bit of colour tweeking etc. in my Craft Studio, it seemed to fit into my collage page.
I will be joining the folk over at
the theme is Collage with journalling
and
the theme there is 'Christmas'.
Thank you for calling by to see me,
the comments you leave for me are always very much appreciated.
I love your journal page and your beautiful Joy card.
ReplyDeleteI really am in awe of your digital art abilities, it is astounding, to me, that the joy in your digital art is taken from the image below it. The colours capture perfectly a frost winter day.

Absolutely adorable, Yvonne. I am impressed with the one layer card. I'm not really a stamper, so that would be hard for me, but you pulled both the lovely journaling page and the card off beautifully (and JOYfully, too).

I just love this page... the colours, the book text creating strong architectural shapes, those cute little houses and most of all that wonderful word/image of Joy. Lovely to see it stamped on the card too. Great post!

ReplyDeleteWell done!

First of all I think your card is beautiful and I love the minimalism of the colours.
ReplyDeleteYour journal page is magnificent, quite like an art patchwork in a painterly way, and the way you have integrated the card design into it is very clever.
That's a long-winded way of saying I like both of these very much!
