Been having a playday today using some new stamps that slipped into my basket
when I was in Yorkshire recently.
This happy, handsome couple comes from a new Dylusions set. Their legs from an old set.
It was a sprayed ink background self mixed, using Turquoise Brusho powder.
A variety of stencils Tim Holtz and new mini stencils from Thats Crafty.
I did use distress inks for most these and modelling paste on the Damask, I rubbed it over with gold gilding wax when it dried..
The quote along the bottom reads....
''me and you stuck like glue'',
if these two ever had an argument, I think Mimi would come out tops.
This is how they looked when I had a play with the photo I took , adding some digi elements.
.
Thank you for stopping by to see me today, I always appreciate the comments you leave for me.

ReplyDeleteGolly Yvonne, I just left you a long message and it was eaten before I could post it. I remember telling you how much I laughed when I saw Mimi and Butch and how both Bleubeard and I would agree that she would come out on top in any battle.
ReplyDeleteI also commented on Brusho powders, explaining they don't seem to be as popular or widely distributed in the States as they are in the UK.
I know I also said something about liking both images and how great your digital work is. But of course, I'm sure I'll remember more once I click "publish."
Oh those pesky stamps - always leaping in to one's shopping basket (actual or virtual)! Love Mimi and Butch, and yes, I'm quite sure Mimi wears the trousers in that relationship. Fabulous colours and great gilded textures in the background and the digi additions work really well.
