Welcome to the Autumn Ball in Spooky Hollow
Everyone is partying and getting ready for Halloween.
Claude has been reunited with Isobelle, Oh boy! can these two dance.
Poor old Henry has had one too many and is settling down in the corner,
the legs have gone but he can still do the hand jive.

This is how the page began in my journal..
Lots of distress inks and paints for the background, until I was happy with the shades.
The skeletons dancing is a stencil [Artistcellar],
a selection of other stencils and stamps from Chocolate Baroque and other makers.
There is still another week to join in the fun at
where the theme is Autumn.
Thank you for stopping by to see me today, I do always appreciate the comments you leave for me.
This is fantastic, I love those dancing skellies having fun! Magiacl piece! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLove how you can take stencils, inks and paints and make such magic with them. Love the warm colours of this page and as always you have a great story to go with the page.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun and uplifting spread, perfect for the autumn theme. I adore the skeletons as they dance the night away while they wait for Halloween. And of course, there's something about the warm autumn colors that is so inviting. I love it.

First it was the colours that caught my eye and then when I spied those two dancing, very merrily it appears (!) I had a wee chuckle at the joy on their faces. Fabulous!

This is a great Halloween page. I always try to find ways to make something spooky and very Halloween-ish, and its hard not to be too stereotypical, but I think you nailed it!
