Out of the shadows
The folk at Tag Along, are asking us to use our favorite techniques this week. I have to say that I have many favorites so this time I have gone for the inky option and using up some left over bits and pieces. A vague homage to Tim Holz with the grungy colours, and distress inks. Walnut stain, Vintage Photo and a smidge of Brushed corduroy. With a scrap of his material down the side, one of his background checkered stamps , ticket and some fussy cut leaf stamps.
One of the layers is a piece of embossed card, a new one from Sheena Douglas.
The image of the lady [a Chapelroad Art stamp] was stamped on tissue and like many things was lying around on my desk waiting to be used
I even coloured the scrap of lace with Vintage photo, getting more on me than on the lace.
I had for once too much sun to get a decent photo, so I opted to call this 'out of the shadows' as it fitted the words quite nicely.
Artful Times challenge is also to make a tag, ATC or card in Tim Holtz style. I hope this will fit the bill there as well.
Thank you for taking time to call by, I realy appreciate your comments.

Such a beautiful stamp of the woman, perfect against the Gothic arches - wow! - and I love the rich autumnal colours of this gorgeous tag. It looks so wonderful in the dappled sunlight.

The woman stamped onto tissue gives the image more depth and I'd say, mystery compared to stamped onto cardstock. You have created a wonderful mood.
