I used a selection from my stored  images to create this digital  page.

I was thinking of the warm sunny days to come,

sitting relaxing with a cool drink close by.

its good to have dreams, so I will explain what would happen in real life for me.

First of all it would have to be warm.

Yes to sit outside, but not in the sun.

Yes a cool drink, most probably lemonade and a good book to read.

I made a digital journal page, which  includes  a selection of images of books.

[notes can be found  in my sidebar about my digital pages.]

Most days  I do spend time reading a book

 and belong to a reading group at my local library,

we've just read 

The Silence of the Sea by Yrsa Sigurdardoittir.

The current book on the table beside me is called

A Night of Flames by Matthew Harffy

The card I made could be useful for many occasions ,

 the base was,   a mop up,

with a stamped  black embossed and a water coloured image

 it  is  an old piece that I have recycled,

from my stash of things that may in the future be useful.

It is a long while since I used embossing powder and the search for it took quite a while.

 next question  was would I get the lid off.? 

 .My hands have  issues of their own these days.

So you will guess there were spills and and a few unmentionable  words.

The heat gun decided to go in strike so  most of the powder didn't melt.
think you will understand why I went down  the recycle route.

Small things .... at TioT's

 A new challenge theme is starting today over at

Try it on Tuesdays

'Small things.'

My first idea for this theme was to make a selection of 

 mixed occasion gift cards, that I could print off the computer when  needed . 

The one with the cake for example is sized at    7 x9 cms.. the others are smaller.

I also made this digital journal page

Yes the page is journal size , but, the image is small.

 Fantasy...

 is the theme for the next two weeks 

over at Try it on Tuesdays

I have created a digital journal  scene for this topic, 

where Alice  the mermaid is holding a party for her friends.

The fish swim in,  hoping they won't be late, they  love to dance..

Can you imagine  frogs singing ?,  with Leggy,  the octopus lady dancing,

 to the music  from the  local  Frog Boy Band.

That is the fantasy I can see on this page.

Rainbow Colours....

is the challenge  theme for the next two weeks over at 

Try it on Tuesdays.

The back story to my idea for this digital  page

 is how youngsters love to use bright colours

 when they are using  or playing with paints.

We might think of the beautiful  rainbow we see in the sky, 

 for these  children  its experimenting with many varieties and colours of paint.

I think they are loving  using the spray paint and having fun.
