There is a new challenge theme starting today over at.....
Winter Blues.
Please pop over for all the details and information.
This was how the page I used for the background began in my digital journal.
A winter snowy scene, looking like the small wood close to my home will look now. if I were to go for a walk there.
We have had snow , it looks so white and crisp with the first glace and then the colours of the sky show through the branches of the trees and you can see the winter blue shades.
Its been a while since my last post, thank you for calling in today,
Stay safe and well.
Wonderful page, and great to see you blogging again. Stay safe and well, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteStunning! LOVE the blues and your images! That sentiment is perfect, especially for this time of year! Have a fabulous week! ((HUS)) Helen
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card! I love the winter scene that you used in the background with the image and wording - perfect! Snow seems to have a peacefulness and silence to it, doesn't it. I bet the wood near you looks amazing with the snow too, we didn't really get any snow here just a light covering for a couple of days 😀. Take care and wishing you well! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI am glad to see you back doing a bit of art Yvonne. I've missed you. This is a gorgeous page and the winter view eve without your added image (a great one by the way) is beautiful. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLovely piece Yvonne, beautiful blues

I was so happy to see you had posted, Yvonne. You have certainly touched on a wintry theme. I know how silent it is right after the snow has fallen. It's a hush you don't quickly forget. This is a truly lovely entry, full of feeling and meaning.
ReplyDeleteI thought of you and I thought hopefully she is fine and now I am happy that I can read something from you again.
ReplyDeleteWonderful winter landscape page that is!
Thank you I wish you that too and take care of yourself! Hugs Elke
Hope you and yours are warm and safe. It's a lovely digi page, the blues are almost hypnotic. Thinking of you, xoxo
ReplyDeleteEarworm :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful works, especially the first one.
How nice to see you on here again after your absence- I missed you so sending you a hug! You’ve captured the winter feel perfectly & it’s a nicer scene than the one outside my window. Take care!

Lovely to see you posting again Yvonne and back with a beautiful wintry page with a very reflective feel to it. I do love how you've altered the beautiful snowy landscape background.

So beautiful winter blues page!
ReplyDeleteWhere did my comment go I wonder? I remember typing in that the snowy scene looks so peaceful and a good place for your figure to take rest! Being very careful not to rush - I may have clicked and not checked as I know I was at this computer keyboard! Hugs, Chrisx
