Colours of the Rainbow at TioT's

Colours of the rainbow....
is the new theme over at Try it on Tuesdays

Please pop over for all the details and see how the DT interpreted this theme.

I used distress oxides  for my rainbow coloured
background. Then decided to have fun
and be colourful with the images I used for the page as well.
The scene was created using  a variety of stamps, some I fussy cut after colouring on a separate piece of light card.

I even took courage and  scribbled my own borders to frame the page.

Thank you for calling in and I hope you will join us over at TioT's and enjoy our colourful theme.

  1. Beautiful page! I love how you created the rainbow background with the oxides and you are very brave doodling the border, rather you than me ...lol 😉. I hope you are feeling better and wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs, Jo x

  2. What a happy page Yvonne, there's sunshine and rainbows in your journal spread. Love that PaperArtsy stamp set. A great TioT theme. Those blended oxides make for a great background. I hope you are feeling much better now?

  4. I don't know why this didn't show on my sidebar until hours after everyone else's, but I adore the whimsy and joy in this journal page. That background is amazing with the oxides and the focal images really stand out against it. I wish you felt better, Yvonne. I was so sorry to read you are still not well. Please take care of yourself and please feel better soon, dear friend.

  9. Hi, Yvonne, I do hope you are feeling your old self again now! Since you did not mention it, I am going to assume all is well. This rainbow page is just gorgeous - it makes me feel so happy to look at it. I have begun using the makeup blending brushes with the handles to blend my inks and finally something I can use, but it takes longer and more layers than just sponging. Still not giving into the oxide inks. I could buy them all today but not the point. I have all the Distress inks AND their reinkers and I've a sneaking suspicion that I'd never even look at then again were I to have the Oxides, LOL. XOXOX
