Deep in the Forest

This months theme at Art Journal Journey is  'Deep in the Forest'.
As it is the month of Halloween, what else could I think of but  those  little creatures that are ready to scare unsuspecting travelers, as they walk through the trees.
The background was a blotted page, mop ups from a brusho  experiment that went wrong.
Its a Clarity stencil, shaded with Black Soot distress ink.
The raven is an Alterations die cut  with a bit of embossing in gold.
The corner with the  hiding creature and the words
are all stamps from Chocolate Baroque.

Thank you for taking time to stop by, the comments you leave me are always appreciated.

  7. I really like the way you have painted the trees, one can imagine walking through this forest.
There is a scary little creature under the toadstools - or is it a little black kitten?

  17. This is fantastic Yvonne--it sent a shudder down my spine thinking of the flutterings in the treetops when we walk through a forest-they are usually such quiet places. I think this page says all of that-well it did to me
