Two Journal 52 pages to share with you today.
This is Week 28 and the prompt was Technology.
The background, I created digitally on the computer using found free images, these I blended together. My thoughts here was the 'virtual future'. The stamped images I added are definitely from a more visual past , when time was spent inventing things, with simple pen, ink and paper..
The quote I added reads --One faces the future with ones past.
Week 29 's prompt was 'Fashion'.
I can find things about my craft room much easier for this one. I went with the 1920's and some Graphics 45 papers. This is quite an under embellished page for me. This was the era of classic, straight lines,
where the style was the main feature.
Thank you for stopping by to take a look. I always appreciate the comments you leave.
Two fabulous pages, technology is great when a computer & printer are available! Not the case for me at the moment & fashion ....I'd have coped better with my rubber stamps whereas you've done a brilliant job :-)

Very impressive how you combined the images. I have not tried that at all. Both pages are stunning! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteBoth pages are fabulous, Yvonne. I specially like the stunning technology page, I love the digital layers, and great to see something so different. The quote is so true.

Two very different pages, but both great x
ReplyDeleteOoh, yum - love those moody steampunk blues, and the words are bang on the nail. Lovely 1920s chic - almost the last time period where I have any time for the fashions (some of the 1940s/50s is okay but otherwise...). Love the beaded chain to finish it off.
