Grace for Sugar Creek Hollow

Vintage Fashion is our new  challenge for this week  over at Sugar Creek Hollow.
Please pop over to see what we have all been making, get all the details and we hope you will join us this week.

We are sponsored by the Digi Doodle Shop who are offering a generous voucher to spend in their fabulous store.

I was thrilled to be able to use one of their Vintage images to make this wall hanging.

It all began with an off cut of mountboard 9 inches square, which I covered with a piece of Egyptian cotton.
One of the layers already had music as a background,  to add interest I  used a Stampers Anonymous stamp with clear embossing ink which I brushed with gold  mica powders. I was wanting it  to fade into the background.. The corners were heat embossed adding a few assorted beads while the powder was still hot.
Now for the main image, I named her Grace because she looks quite graceful to me.
I used my favourite colouring method again, watercolours, then  fussy cut , before placing on the picture.
The other additions came from my stash.
Challenges also entered-
