Make it Feminine ....
is the new theme over at Try it on Tuesdays
We hope you will join us there
and please call over to see how we interpreted this topic.
I've gone to Paris for this page, well the background was already started,
with a few random stamp images and words.
Its an old fussy cut recycled image of the pretty gal, maybe she is one of the dancers
from the Folies Bergere wearing a dress like this.
I added more glitter to the image for a bit more glamour and sparkle.
I am adding this page to the current theme
at Art Journal Journey hosted by Elle at Empire of the cat. the theme is.....Language
and as you can see I have used the French language on this page. France was a country my family always enjoyed visiting in our caravan. Using basic school French we soon expanded our vocabulary over the years.
Thank you for stopping by to see me here.
Stay safe and keep well

I adore this French inspired beauty. She is definitely a beauty and very feminine. It's also a great spread for Elle's theme at Art Journal Journey, too, dear.

ReplyDeleteall dear Elke
nice and soft journal page
ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne, you should also enter this at Country View Challenge as it's a Paris theme this month. And I love your spread so much. Always prefer your "real" work but that is just me. Your background stamping is perfect for your cancan dancer and I love all the French words, too. I would have loved to live so close to make multiple trips to France. I only got there once and my trois ans de francais a l'ecole et un ans a l'universite was just enough to make me tres dangerous heeheehee! Have a good weekend! XOX
ReplyDeleteA beautiful page.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
She's a super image Yvonne, a real belle that fits your parisian background perfectly. Apologies for my late visit, i've been away from home taking care of my Mother in Law since she returned from hospital. Take care Hugs TRacey xx
