I am really enjoying this months theme over at....
this is journal page is created using new technology
not even thought about when I was at school.
No it wasn't back in Victorian times,
although I do remember how strict it was in class.
No talking, respect, punctuality, hand up to answer questions and no calling out. etc. etc.
I think you will be able to add many more of your own to this list. I can.
So, here I am with the trusty tea close by, enjoying a session on the computer.
Some of the images I used were from an internet search for free to use items. The background is one of my own.
A close up photo of the current Tea mug.
I have to smile at the state of that woman, she looks tired out poor thing.
I am popping over to say hello and visit with the folk at
Where T stands for Tuesday and all are welcome
to add a Tea related post.
Thank you for calling in to see me today,
Happy Tea Day everyone.
I am having some internet issues at the moment, I will get to visit with you all as soon as I can.

I love your tea mug. That is me this morning. I could have stayed in bed for a little (or a lot) longer. And this Victorian piece you made is wonderful. Times have really changed since then, especially technology. I wonder if we went back in time what we would find that is the same. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteHelen Reddy would have laughed at that take on her song. It's a great mug, though. I can sometimes relate.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great AJJ entry, and I agree that the technology used to create your page was unheard of when either of us was in school. I remember back when I was getting my undergrad degree in the late 1980s, the were just starting to talk about CGI. Few people even owned computers with a mouse when they first came out. My first computer didn't even have a hard drive! Just two floppy drives.
I really enjoyed both your AJJ entry and your tea for T this Tuesday, because they both brought back fond memories.
A fabulous page Yvonne with such a beautiful colour and wonderful images.
ReplyDeleteInteresting mug as well
Love Chrissie xx
Wonderful page Yvonne. Love the mug.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day, Flo xx
Cute page, I like the little Girl reading her book. Those rules sound perfect to me, although more strict than when I was in school. My Son's bus is very strict, very different than the one's I rode!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful page ! I love that the theme brings so much memories to all of us!
ReplyDeleteYour cup is just fun - I like the fact that she is invincible... but so tired always...lol!
Happy T-Day my friend!

I am in LOVE it your gorgeous mug! Love the journal page, too, I think it did us good to learn respect and consideration at school, something many kids of today are lacking. Thanks for joining us again at AJJ, go to the top of the class! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteGreat page and your mug made me smile too :-). Hope all is well and wishing you a Happy T Day! J :-)
ReplyDeleteha- I like your mug Yvonne:) And i must say you create the nicest digital collages! Of course I also love a vintage theme. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteLove your journal page and the coffee mug. So good to see you this T day! Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteSuper great AJJ page!!!
ReplyDeleteand you cup is a keeper too.
Happy T-day and thank you for the lovely comment.
Ha, I love that mug. I feel like that sometimes.
ReplyDeleteGreat journal page. Yes, we had similar rules (except the 'speak English' rule of course). The desks all were in neat rows and even before entering the school in the morning, we had to all stand in a row according to which class you were in, two by two, and then, one row at a time, children would enter school. We all walked to school, so there were no parents around. Those were the days....
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
"I am tired" roflol! What a great cup. Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteYour cup makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteThere is definitely a price for being invincible ;-)
Lovely page for Elizabeth's wonderful theme!
I cannot believe I haven't gotten to make one page yet.
Too much going on at the moment to focus.
Hope you get your computer issues ironed out...that can be such a pain.
Happy T Day dear Yvonne oxo

Avril xx
Love the MUG!!!!! Great page too :)
ReplyDeleteA wonderful journal page, I love looking at all the pages, some of them bring back lots of memories. Although I wasn't around in the Victorian times when I first started school at the age of 4, we used a small blackboard to learn to write on with chalk, when we'd learnt to write letters and numbers properly then we moved on to paper and pencil.
ReplyDeletexxx Hazel.
Fabulous page for AJJ! I often laugh at what my Dad would say about technology these days! I don't think he would believe what we can do on mobile phones! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeletefinally my guests are back home again and i find the time for a belated t-day blog hop...
ReplyDeleteoh, i remember those rules so well! and i love this mug, of course!
Fun page made with technology and "olden days" images and rules.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember any written rules in our school, it was just assumed we would all behave ..... or else.
Best of luck with your Internet problems, hope they get resolved soon.
Oh and what a great mug, I would love using it.
DeleteSo wonderful and interesting page Yvonne !! As always of course. Love your tea mug!! I wish you a very nice weekend, big hugs.
