Create a Scene
is the new challenge theme over at Try it on Tuesdays.
The team have created an amazing variety of scenes,
please pop over to see them and get all the details.
Now as we are into November and I am just beginning to think seriously about
making Christmas cards, I just had to use this winter scene image [Stampendous]
I stamped this onto plain white card using Watering Can -Ariondak ink pad.
Edged this with silver embossing powder and a hint of blue from an old ink pad. Water coloured the Holly, then added some glitter for the snow, hard to get a photo, but you can just about see this if you click to enlarge the photo..
It is simply matted and layered, a couple were dry embossed using a Holly folder,
then shaded with a variety of distress ink, silver and gold inks pads.
Thank you for calling to see me today,
the comments you leave are always appreciated.
You just know that christmas is well and truly on the way Yvonne when we see beautiful cards like this. The recipient of this card will be so pleased when they gaze upon it.
