The Owl and the pussy Cat

Another journal page made with Art Journal Journey in mind,
the theme for April is favourite  Poems/Quotes.
So I chose The Owl and the Pussy Cat by Edward Lear.
I think many folk will know this one.
The base colours were already there from mopping up, I tried  drawing  the boat then cut it out. Its an odd shape, but I am no artist. if it doesn't come on a rubber stamp,  a freebie from  net,  or magazine cutting I'm sunk. But I feel journaling is to enjoy, so hey this is my version of the 'pea-green boat'..
I did use  a sunburst stencil and a bit of freehand filling in.
The owl stamp from Stampendous and the Cat from Stampers Anonymous.
I may not be able to visit you all as often, as we are currently off in caravan-land,
enjoying some Yorkshire sunshine, but as you can see  my journal was packed with the craft goodies.

Thank you for stopping by the comments you leave for me are always appreciated.
