The images were from the weekend papers again, these are more my kind of girls, fighting over the dolls with big sister about to sort them out.
Background made using a number of stencils including a new one of the houses [Clarity] and distress inks.
I was lucky to visit the Artists Trading Post whilst here in Derbyshire, quite a number of new goodies just happened to fall into my basket.

Have just read that the theme this month at Art Journal Journey is Houses/homes, so before I change my mind I will be adding this page, I am in awe of the fantastic artwork over there. I hope this will be okay.
Showing you this page as well as it's a girlie type image and not my usual style of stamp., but I did enjoy colouring it in with pencils and I have a few birthday cards to make when I get home, so it will be very useful.
.
We have enjoyed some lovely sun today, but its not going to last, back to wet and thunder storms tomorrow.
I will have my journal book nearly full at this rate.
Thank you for stopping by, I always appreciate the comments you leave me.

ReplyDeleteFabulous again Yvonne, really love how you keep doing these journal pages at the moments. And yes, I do recognize that "things falling into baskets" phenomenon. Really like the way you used the houses with those cut outs in front!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pages Yvonne love how you have used the clarity houses stencil, I have it but haven't used it yet, great inspiration.

Both amazing pages.
ReplyDeleteNo need to worry about joining in at AJJ-I always join in and I haven't even developed a style yet-your houses page is wonderful and very artistic.
Hope the weather is kinder to you than the forecast says.
Love Chrissie x
Fabulous page. Great stencil which works so well with those figures. You have a unique style when it comes to these journal pages. I don't want it to rain, we need some summer, but if you create like this when it rains long may it rain.
ReplyDeleteI just love those squabbling girls and the houses stencil is great!
ReplyDeleteHave a great w/end
Sally
