This weeks challenge over at Sugar Creek Hollow  is 'Vintage Hats, shoes, purses'.

Out of this range of choices, I decided on a Hat.
 I cannot remember the last time I wore one, probably for a wedding. These days its pull on wooly hats to keep out the cold and wet , when walking the dog.
This handsome hat image was sent to me from a friend  in a lucky package.
All the layers,  papers and additions  were from my stash.
The extra shading is distress inks, weathered wood and shabby shutters.

I will also like  to enter the,  'Very Vintage'  challenge over at Crafts4eternity .

    Lovely card, and that lady has style. I often wear hats and caps in winter, but I think that one would not be quite the right thing for walking along the Rhine! Valerie
