Something old, Something new.

'Something Old, Something New', is our new Challenge this week over  at Sugar Creek Hollow.
Are you curious yet? We would like you to use an 'old'  item from your stash, also a 'new', item  and  tell us what  you used.
Make something in a Shabby Chic/Vintage style and come and join our challenge.
Please pop over and see what we have all been making and get all the details.

This first picture is my glimpse of new stash..  We were in Melrose a few days ago and I found this super shop selling materials, wool, lace and ribbons. How could I pass by this gem of a shop, it was the nearest to a craft shop I had seen in weeks.

Here is the card I made, adding some of  the  'new' lace and pretty embroidered flowers.
The stamp is 'old' from [I think] Queens Dresser Drawers, shaded with Antique Linen Distress inks, it is layered onto some material and assorted paper layers. Bundled Sage is the other distress ink I used  on the edges of the torn paper.
I will be using this card for a friends Anniversary .

Challenges also entered-
Fussy and Fancy  -Vintage with Distressing and Lace.
The Stampman Challenge  - Anything goes/Celebrations.
Diva's by Design - Challenge 46 Flowers

Thank you for stopping by, I always appreciate your comments.
