Flowers, one of Natures Wonders. for AJJ

Yesterday Gill this month's  lovely hostess over at
asked us What was our favourite flower and why?

Well, this did have me pondering,
poppies have always been my choice if it were to pick a wild flower.
Then what about all the other flowers that bloom, and share their scents, colours and their own special beauty with us.
So this is a digital page from me, showing a variety of flowers that would give me great pleasure to see them in bloom.
I rarely have flowers in a vase, I  prefer to see them growing.
We plant a seed, a bulb,  a cutting in the soil,
Wait awhile,
then see..........
A true wonder of nature.

Thank you for calling in to see me today,
your visit is very much appreciated.
Made using my own,
found , Mischief Circus
images.

  2. Love your beautiful digital bouquet Yvonne - which will never wilt and die.
I also adore your soft musical background which compliments that wonderful quote perfectly.
I'm the same, preferring to see flowers in my garden than in doors.
I think cuttings that grow probably amaze me the most - especially when they work.

  4. Lovely to see your favourite flowers, Yvonne.
I agree with you - with some exceptions, sweet peas for example - I like to keep the flowers growing in the garden, but sometimes it is nice to pick a small posy if there are enough still in the ground.

  12. Yvonne...What a wonderful quote, and your depiction of it is lovely. I love the way you composed this collage. It is so pretty. Wish I could do it. Think I am just intimidated by the digital art thing...but the watercolors takes me days and days to complete. Low your work and thank you as always for your visit and your kind and encouraging words. genie

  16. Golly, Yvonne, I adore how you touched on not just beautiful flowers, but various ways we have to grow them. I never thought of it before, but they truly ARE nature's wonders. Simply stunning art, too.
