Its Raining Gears

This is the birthday card I made for my OH, as he takes all my photos  I have been unable to show it to you until now.
I used brown cardstock as the base, the next layer is from a Tim Holtz  paper stack. The die cut cogs, got the rust treatment with distress pwder.   The next layer was  covered with a page from an old book, stamped with cogs and coloured with weathered wood DI.
  At last a reason to use my new Umbrella man die, I have used the piece that would normally be put aside, keeping the man for another project..
 The metal embellishments came from my stash.
This card will fit the themes for a these of challenges.
Crafty Card Makers Challenge 45--Steampunk or machines.
Craft us CrazyChallenge8. Use a Favourite embellishment/s and /or  something new [new die, favourite cogs]
Simon Says Stamp Show--Anything Goes.

    Gorgeous card Yvonne - you could have asked your OH to take the photo with his eyes closed - and I bet he would have still taken it perfectly!
