The 1st of April and a new theme over at
The topic Alison from Craftytrog's Arty Adventures has chosen for us is.....
'Play it again Sam'
asking us to think about our favourite films and songs.
You will find all the information details and our rules HERE
I really had to get thinking about this theme and eventually chose to use a Beatles song...
All you need is love
Written by John Lennon in the late 60's. a song that has stood the test of time.
This page was created in the digital program I use [notes in my sidebar]
with computer generated images.
We are looking forward to seeing how you interpret this theme
and hope you will share your favourite films and songs with everyone there.
Beautiful page, and one of my all time fave songs, I have a page ready with this song, too! Have a great week hope you are keeping well. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have never been much of a Beetles fan, I DO like this song. It is beautifully represented, too. The love you show in your art is unmistakable. This is a super first entry using Alison's theme at Art Journal Journey, dear Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteWow Yvonne. What a gorgeous page. And what a great song you’ve picked also. I’ve got a Beatles page I plan to share in my next post, but luckily not the same song. Of course with the Beatles there are so many songs to make pages about. Happy April!!! Hugs Erika
ReplyDeleteA beautiful page and a great song Yvonne! Thanks for linking to my theme at AJJ.
ReplyDeleteAlison
Your interpretation of the theme is most lovely, beautiful and gorgeous as the song you are presenting as your favorite. We all know this song.
ReplyDeleteHappy April ❤️🌸🌻
It's a lovely page for a long time favorite song.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful page this is Yvonne, I love how you have limited the colour palette - one of my favourite things to do is use black and white with a touch of red.
ReplyDeleteYou have illustrated this song perfectly, love the heart shape drawn several times.
Hugs, Neet xx
What a great song! And your page is absolutely beautiful, Yvonne! Thank you for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat art accompanied with a great song. :) Who does not love this one. :)
