Write me a letter for AJJ

A digital  collage A4 size journal page for
July's theme is Post and Postage.
I used  mainly pieces  from the My  Craft Studio Programs,
together with images  I had stored on my computer.
Letter writing is becoming a thing of the past , with the ways we have to communicate
 with each other these days.
But nothing will ever take the place
of the letter the postman delivers and the anticipation of what will be found inside.
I am not talking about Bills or Junk Mail.,
it may be just a few words from a friend , or a card ,
but ,I am sure that these would brighten any ones day, if they  were to drop through our letter boxes.

Thank you for stopping by to see me, the comments you leave are always appreciated.

  1. I agree with you, e-mails are fine but there is nothing better than receiving a letter from a friend or relative - and recognising the handwriting! I love the elements you have included here ! A brilliant page! Chrisx

  8. Really lovely collage you created Yvonne!!!
It certainly is fun when there is real mail in the mailbox.
I just said yesterday that if it weren't for "junk" mail/advertisements and such we wouldn't get any mail at all :-(
    Happy Weekend oxo

  10. Beautiful collage Yvonne!! I completely agree with you and as much as I love the convenience of the internet, I think it's really taking away from the experiences of life. Letter writing, going to the movies, hand written invitations...now it's all E-vite and Net-flix. The last drive-in near to us closed down a couple of years ago, broke my heart. So sad. happy weekend, hugs :)

  11. A beautiful collage page & I love the bicycle stamps on it. You are so right when you say that you can't beat a proper handwritten letter, they are always so nice to receive :-)

Re the flag... It would indeed have been to the left of the screen as the riders up the valley.
