I am sharing this digital journal page with Valerie's theme..... 

When one door opens another one closes. over at Art Journal Journey

I am sure every living creature will have a entrance or doorway as we do  

to their place of comfort and safety.

 The birds are waiting   and I'm sure 

 the folk inside the tree house are all prepared for  the family to get home.

I have created a digital journal page, using layers of scenery, lots of snow

 with snowflakes  falling.

 A wonderful time for children  with their families

 to get out the sledge and enjoying playing in the snow.

Opening a new door can be quite challenging,

 wondering where and how  people live and  what it is like behind the closed  door.

 The doors to our homes can be similar to our neighbours or completely different

in style and the way they looks to others,

 but inside will be unique to themselves,

 their home, their place to feel safe.

This page is for the new theme that Valerie has chosen for us over at ...

Art Journal Journey......

'When one door opens another closes'.

A mop up background for the page with  some fussy cut stamped images and the two TH found relatives were the starting place for this page, which was altered and manipulated in the digital computer program that I use [notes in my sidebar]

Maisie and Alice have met two new friends while they were playing outside in the garden.

 Alice  wondered where they lived. It came  as quite a surprise when Maisie showed her the small door beside their own that  took the little people into their own home.

I have created a winter woodland  scene, using  layers  of snowy  digital images.

Maybe  Mr Snowman is asking the robins if they   think the woodland looks magical with all the snow falling around them.

Remembrance Sunday

 

Remembrance Sunday 2021  

A day when we  remember the brave men and women

 from all the countries in our world who in past and present times

 served their countries and gave their lives for the freedom and safety of others.

Our National Service of Remembrance is held on the Sunday 

closest to the 11th of November

at the Cenotaph in London

All she wanted was to wear a pretty dress 

and have a new hair style.

She  was granted one wish by a little elf sitting among some magic mushrooms

'magic' was in the air and her dream came true.

This is how the pages began...

I had  used a variety of older stamps from my stash  for this spread some time ago,

 it was left on the shelf,. I wasn't sure I liked the colour or it had to much going on

even before I added some digital images..[notes in my sidebar]
