'Embossed'.....

. is the new theme over at

 Try it on Tuesdays

This  could be dry embossed--folders or pastes or heat embossing.

This is the result of  how  my  stamped  flower image ,

 became  this layered   computer generated hybrid page

The flower image was stamped and heat  embossed  on to a mop up splashed background

then painted with water colours.

I decided to create a digital  journal page,

 the kids want to go out and scare a few folk,

at a safe distance of course. 

Mother was so worried about them going out she decided to go with them,

she was in such a hurry she forgot her head as well as her hat.

However you celebrate Halloween ,  stay safe.

'Hold the line'

 is the theme Chris chose for this month over at

Art Journal Journey

Lots of lines on my page today although some are straighter than others.

Only one photo of the page  in its earlier stages. For the background I used a stencil with a piece of washi tape for the purple zebra to stand on. He wanted a bit of colour in his world   the black and white was looking a bit  dull  to him. So out with the paint pot , to cheer himself up. In my case  the digital computer program I use.

The two ladies chatting about a visit to the local  hall to play a Bingo game were computer generated. 

We are looking forward to seeing how you all interpret this theme.. it sure got me thinking outside my comfort zone.

Colours of Autum........ at TioT's

 

A new challenge theme starts today over at........

 Try it on Tuesdays

'Colours of Autumn'.

This is how my journal page began, stencils, stamps of skeleton leaves.. and lots of autumn colour tones.

I had a picture of the fox I wanted to use, he is so like the neighbourhood fox that is a regular visitor in the locality. I often wonder where he is going and where the rest of his family live.

The words and extras were computer generated.

A journal page using up some scraps from the pile I tipped up on the table.

It was  a mop up background to start with to which I added some strips of washi tape.

This is a photo of how it looked with a few of the bits and pieces and  die cuts,  before I started sticking them all  down  . I could have added even more but decided to stop . the pile was never going to get any smaller, no matter how many pieces I picked out. 

I even added a few digital pieces while I was in the crafting mood.
