The background I started  this digital page with,

 as you can see in the next photo

  is what I would call a  'mop up' page.

Made when blotting up excess inks , from other projects ,pages, stencils etc.

I don't make many hands on pieces these days, but I still have  pages  waiting  in journals 

or in the box of useful stuff  that many of us will have in our craft space.
