A layered digital journal page from me and as many of my friends know I am a tea drinker. The kettle is always ready to be switched on and the tea bags to hand, no matter what time of the day .

 I think I have a guardian tea fairy lurking in my cupboard as she she has been working overtime in the recent months in my home.

We are looking forward to seeing how you all interpret the theme and hope you will have fun and join us at TioT's.

Its Halloween ......... at TioT's

 

Its getting close to Halloween  and we hope you will join us over at

Once again I have been creating a digital  journal page.

Lots of layers, topped with  a hand painted  mop up page,

more  layered images, can you see the crow looking over the witch's head. 

As for my witch, she looks happy to be out flying  and taking her animal friends out for a trip

on the broom.

Dull misty mornings, grey days and long shadows can be typical days here in the UK

and who knows what could be flying in the skies at night.

I  realy like to see the colours of the leaves   at this time of the year . 

 October   brings  Autumn to  my part of the world,

each day can be magical as the colours change

So another hybrid journal page from me ,

I used stamps and stencils and have to admit to creating this base  at the same time as  the  one for  my previous post. After uploading the photo I added the images in the digital program I use.

Autumn Blessings...... at TioT's

 

The new challenge theme for the next two weeks at Try it on Tuesdays is....

Autumn Blessings.

 I have created a hybrid journal page

 with a random stamped leaf background and added digital images.

 I am lucky to live close to woodland and the countryside,  to see the leaves changing colour and knowing that the trees are shedding their bounty for the animals to store for winter id truly one of autumns blessings.

I'm sure fashion styles have been talked about for many, many years,

   these two sure  could be planning a  trip down memory lane 

 and wondering what they should wear on their next night out.

days seem to blend into each other, but I keep giving myself a talking to

Going Round in Circles at..... TioT's

 

'Going Round in Circles'...

 is the new challenge theme over at Try it on Tuesdays

I have made a layered , circular shaped Birthday card for the new theme.

A splashed and splattered background, with a stamped and coloured flower image.

The butterflies and words are  computer generated.

After  taking a photo  and loading it into the digital program I use on my computer I  created this journal page with lots of  layered circles onto a dotty stencilled background

Vintage..... at Art Journal Journey

For my journal page I have gone down the vintage  fashion style route,

 following two sisters wearing   their  Sunday best dresses as children,

to growing up and wearing fashionable  outfits . going out 

to meet with their friends.

I imagine they will have lots of stories to tell as they get older about the clothes they used to wear.

I used TH relatives for my  girls.

The background of the page is a mop up one in my Kraft card journal , I even used a few scraps of washi tape to try to create some steps for them to stand on.
