Art for arts sake .....

Another digital page for Chris's theme of
Art for Arts Sake...... over at

I did have a photo of  a  mixed media/digital page , made a while ago to use as my starting point.
After  a weekend of watching tennis finals at Wimbledon and the Tour de France cycling, It was good to sit and create art.....well,  my kind of art  at the present time.
The added sewing idea came from some super journal spreads I have seen recently on Susi's and other friends blogs.
Mine is not the real thing, its a digital addition.

17 more days  until I hope to say goodbye to the splints on my left arm. You can tell I am counting the days.

Thank you for stopping by, you are always very welcome here,

Digital information can
be found in my sidebar.

  7. this really came out gorgeous Yvonne. It doesn't look digital at all.It looks like paint and other messy fun. I bet you are counting the days. I would be, and I am sure you are ready now! I would be too. But at least there is tennis and the Tour de France to keep you a little occupied. Hope all is well other than your arm. Hugs-Erika

  8. Your digital skills are wonderful Yvonne! If I hadn't known that at the moment you are limited in what you do, I would have believed you had got messy hands with this! I have been enjoying the Tour de France, although still have to catch up with yesterday as we were on our way home for most of it! I hope the days go quickly for you but hoping that mine slow down bit, we are decorating the living room this week! Thank you so much for your support at AJJ! Hugs, Chrisx

  9. I know how very late I am visiting, but I'm trying to catch up today, even though I still have chills and a morbid cough.

I LOVE this journal page. I love, love, love the stitching. It is so amazing, and to think it is all digital just BLOWS my mind. I adore the background, too. I'm so happy you shared it with us at Art Journal Journey. Now I'm off to see what else I've missed, but not before I thank you for being there for me, even when I was too sick to care.

  12. Wowzers, that thread looks real. Susi is the master of that, wish my sewing machine was out and set up, might give it a go but too lazy. Love the flowers and that quote. xoxo
